It's what my grandma used to say. Water will out.

Sounds like a strange expression, probably. Here is what it means:

Water goes where it wants to go, regardless of what anyone else wants.

It trickles through rock, soil, cracks in concrete.

In games of rock paper scissors, if it's water, water wins over all three. It rots wood pulp, shapes stone into stalactites and stalagmites, and rusts metal.

People like to think they can control it. They build concrete channels, bury streams in underground pipes, erect dams.

But water will out.

This blog will track water issues in the United States, in Canada, and around the world. Water quality, water security, access to drinking water, sanitation, and all that jazz.

It's a topic that's slowly emerging into the spotlight, and it needs urgent attention.

See you soon with video, articles, opinions, and more!
